    Tougher and glossy back design

    iPhone 11 is protected by a Gorilla Glass made by Corning. The company claims that it is the “toughest glass on the planet”. The phone also has IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and it can survive in 2m deep in non-salty water. The front glass has an oleophobic coating. This helps in keeping the phone clean in terms of fingerprints and smudges.

    Great Video recording capabilities and stabilisation

    The main camera on iPhone 11 is optically and digitally stabilised while the ultra wide camera is only digitally stabilised. It is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps and 30 fps. The video quality is great with plenty of details and low noise. The colours are true to life. The dynamic range is impressive. The video stabilisation is also one of the best in a smartphone.

    Stereo audio recording for Videos

    iPhone 11 records wide stereo audio for the videos. The audio recorded mimics the way we hear in real life. In summary, you can get a richer and deeper sound recording compared to regular stereo recording.

    iPhone 11 Cons – The features which are not impressive

    Big notch

    Like iPhone XR, iPhone 11 has a big notch. There is no improvement.

    Same screen resolution like iPhone XR

    iPhone 11 has Liquid Retina 6.1 inch IPS LCD screen with 326ppi and a screen resolution of 828×1792. The screen does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision.

    No bundled fast charger

    iPhone 11 comes with 5W charger in the box. To fully charge the battery it takes close to 4 hours. However, it has support for the fast charger. You can buy a fast charger separately.

    It is one of the cheapest iPhones. However, it is still an expensive phone.

    It is not a compact lightweight phone. It is big and heavy phone.

    • Navigate to the page/App on which you want to capture a screenshot.
    • Press and Hold Power and Volume Down button simultaneously.
    • You will hear shutter sound(provided phone is not in silent mode).
    • Small Preview will appear in the top right.
    • This confirms screenshot is saved.

    Quick Ball was introduced in MIUI 8. It is something similar to Assistive Touch in iOS. Once enabled, a floating circle will appear. This has quick access shortcut to five functions. Home, back, recent, power off and screenshot.

    • To enable Quick ball, go to Quick ball->Additional settings->Quick ball. Now enable the Quick Ball.
    • Now, on any screen on which you want to capture a screenshot, just tap the quick ball icon.
    • Choose screenshot shortcut.

    • Go to “Settings” – “Additional settings” – “Button and gesture shortcuts” – “Take a screenshot” – select “Slide 3 fingers down”.
    • Now Slide down 3 fingers on the page you want to take a screenshot.
    • The screenshot will be saved.
