Asus ZenBook UX305LA With QHD Display, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD Launched

Asus ZenBook UX305LA is the first Windows 10 powered laptop with QHD display in India from Asus. It will be available from October 15th through Asus exclusive stores and online retailers. The laptop will be available in three colours-Black, White and Gold. Asus ZenBook UX305LA price in India starts from Rs. 97,990.

Asus ZenBook UX305LA sports 13.3 inch LED-backlit display with a resolution of 3200×1800 pixels which results in a impressive 276 ppi pixel density. This Asus premium Laptop will be available in 3 variants based on the processor. The options to choose between are Intel Core M, Core i5, and a Core i7-5500U processor. All the variants will have 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. It weighs 1.3kg and measures 324x226x5.5.

The connectivity ports on Asus ZenBook UX305LA are one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 ports, a microphone-in jack, a headphone-out jack, one Micro-HDMI port. It has SonicMaster speakers with audio by ICEpower. Asus ZenBook is powered by 56Whrs 6-cell lithium ion polymer battery with up to 10 hours of battery life. The other features includes HD webcam, 10/100 Mbps LAN, and an SDXC card reader and 285-mm chiclet-style keyboard.Asus ZenBook UX305LA also features Asus Splendid and Asus IceCool technologies for an optimised display and better thermal management.

Asus managing director Peter Chang said in the event that, “The new laptop is a perfect balance of great looks and functionality which delivers a powerful performance with the Windows 10 combination. Microsoft Lumia 950 With QHD Display and Liquid Cooling Unveiled

Much anticipated Microsoft Lumia flagship smartphones Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL were launched at “Windows 10 devices briefing” event today. These two smartphones will run on Windows 10 out of the box. The key features of these Windows flagship are Liquid cooling technology, QHD display, USB Type-C port (USB 3.1) and 20MP Pureview camera.

Microsoft Lumia 950 price starts from $549 and Lumia 950XL price starts from $649. Both these smartphones will available starting November. The company also launched new budget smartphone Lumia 550 priced at $139 which will be available from December. Microsoft Lumia 550 specifications are not yet revealed.

Microsoft Lumia 950 sports 5.2 inch AMOLED QHD display with Glance screen and ClearBlack technology. It has pixel density of 564 ppi. This Microsoft Lumia flagship smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The device has 32GB of internal storage and supports microSD card upto 200GB.

Microsoft Lumia 950XL is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with 3GB of RAM. It has larger 5.7 inch AMOLED QHD display with pixel density of 518 ppi. This Windows 10 smartphone too has 32GB of internal storage and supports microSD card upto 200 GB.

Both Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL has 20-megapixel pureview rear camera with 4K video recording, OIS, and a f/1.9 aperture. There is also a 5-megapixel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and full-HD video recording. The rear camera is supported by triple-LED RGB flash module. There is also a dedicated camera buttons.

Another key feature of these newly launched Windows 10 flagship smartphone is inclusion of adaptive antenna technology. As per the company, this technology blends signal from two antenna. Hence, irrespective the way you hold your phone, the phone network strength will remain same. Both Lumia 950 and 950XL features Liquid cooling technology which will keep the phone temperature in check.

Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950XL comes with USB Type- C port. According to the company statement it will charge the smartphone battery 50% in just 30 minutes. Lumia 950 houses 3000 mAh battery and Lumia 950 XL has 3340 mAh battery. Both are user removable batteries. Both these smartphones support wireless charging.

Yu Yureka Plus With Android Kitkat Available for Rs.8999

Yu Yureka Plus which originally released with Cynogen OS 12 now available with near stock Android Kitkat. It is available on open sale and listed in Amazon.in. The price of Yu Yureka Plus with Android Kitkat is Rs.8999.

Specification of Yu Yureka Plus with Android Kitkat looks similary to Yu Yureka Plus with Cynogen OS which is released in July. This is a dual sim(GSM+GSM) smartphone with 4G compatibility. It is powered by 1.5GHz 64-bit oct-core Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939) with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. The lsiting says, it is upgradable to Android Lollipop.

Yu Yureka Plus features 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. Which Motorola Devices Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will start seeding to the Nexus smartphones from next week. Many customers are eager to know, whether thier devices too get Android 6.0 Marshmallow and when the update will come. Motorola has come out with list smartphones which will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. When Motorola was with Google, Moto G got the update very fast. There are many smartphones with much better specification available for much less price. Motorola broke its promise.

Motorola has not revealed the exact release date for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. But company said will update on timings in the coming weeks. Motorola also discontinueing the apps such as Moto Assist, Motorola Migrate, Google Chrome extension found in Motorola Connect. The functionalities of these apps are either integrated with Android itself or availability of other free third party apps.

In conclusion, it feels like, Motorola is forgetting the main reason for the sucess of Moto series smartphone.

Yu Yunique Launched in India at Rs.4999
Micromax’s Yu Televentures launched its fourth and cheapest 4G Android smartphone, the Yu Yunique.The device is priced at Rs.4,999 in India. Users can opt for bundled two different coloured back covers at Rs.5999. The Yu Yunique is available exclusively on Snapdeal via flash sale. The registrations are already open and first flash sale will happen on 15th September at 12PM IST.

Yu Yunique sports 4.7 inch display screen with 720p(720×1280 pixels) HD screen with pixel density of 312ppi. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. This device is powered by 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 306 GPU.

Yu Yunique runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has 8GB of internal storage and support for microSD card upto 32GB. This new Yu smartphone sports 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash and a 2-megapixel, fixed-focus 83-degree wide-angle front-facing camera with 3P Lens and f/2.4 aperture.

Yu Yunique is backed by 2000mAh Li-Po battery which is rated to provide 7 hours of talk time and 271 hours of standby time. The connectivityu features of the device includes TDD Band 40 (2300MHz) and FDD Band 3 (1800MHz) for India alongside Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio and Micro-USB v2.0 connectivity.

This is the fourth smartphone from Yu. The other three smartphones are Yu Yureka, Yu Yureka Plus and Yu Yuphoria. Yu Yunique will compete with the likes of Phicomm Energy 653 and Lenovo A2010. Looking at the spec sheet and comparing these three smartphones, Yu Yunique looks imporessive. However, we will be able to come to conclusion only after we do the complete review on Yu Yunique.
