    Lenovo A7010

This is not a Lenovo Vibe K4 Note review.  In this post, we will know the new features of the smartphone by looking at the plain specifications with comparison with Lenovo K3 Note. The actual pros and cons of Vibe K4 Note will be known only after the in depth review.

Top 5 new Features of Lenovo Vibe K4 Note

    1. TheaterMax:

The new Vibe K4 Note comes with a new feature called TheaterMax. According company, this feature convert regular content to its immersive VR counterpart. This along with Lenovo Virtual Reality (VR) technology is supposed to provide users a virtually large screen cinematic experience.  The popular head-mount VRs such as the AntVR for Lenovo, Google Cardboard, and Oculus will work with Lenovo Vibe K4 Note.

    2. 3GB of RAM:

As we all know, Lenovo K3 Note had 2GB of RAM. But with Vibe K4 Note, we get 3GB of RAM. Considering the price, it is good addition.

    3. Front-facing stereo speakers:

Lenovo Vibe K4 Note comes with two front-facing speakers (1.5W each) alongside Dolby Atmos audio. This will enhance audio output of the device. Stereo speaker setup is common in high end smartphones. It is welcome move from Lenovo to adopt it into mid range smartphone.

    4. NFC:

This is feature which is very rare to be seen in sub 20k smartphones. Most of the smartphone manufacturers omit this to save cost. Adding NFC is more significant considering the fact that, mobile payments through NFC is getting popular. NFC has many other feature such as Android Beam(exchange information between two Android phones), Pairing with devices etc.

    5. Fingerprint scanner:

We all know by now the advantages of having a fingerprint scanner. It provides advanced fingerprint security as well as NFC capability for easy transfers and payments.

These are key features which we feel that, consumers will more interested in. There are many more features to look in such as curvy designed full metal body, improved display, camera etc. I will be making an indepth review of Vibe K4 Note in the coming days.

  • Lenovo VIBE P1m Review-Pros And Cons

Lenovo VIBE P1m is an entry level dual sim Android smartphone. The key highlight of this device are 3900 mAh battery, 4G support, 2GB RAM and 5 inch HD display screen. Lenovo VIBE P1m price in India is Rs.7,999. There are many devices are available in price segment. So lets have a quick look into VIBE P1m in our express review.

Lenovo Vibe P1m sports 5 inch 720p HD display which offers 294 ppi pixel density. Display panel used in this device is good. Viewing angles, brightness, color reproduction are very good. Only demerit of the  Vibe P1m screen is, it does not have any screen protection. So you need to use a screen guard to protect the display from scratches. Lenovo does provide screen guard in the retail box. Also there is no oleophobic coating on the screen, hence screen is fingerprint magnet.

    Lenovo Vibe P1m

As mentioned earlier, the key attraction of Lenovo Vibe P1m is its battery. The device has 3900 mAh battery with fast charging support. The bundled charger does supports fast charging. It takes around two  to two and hours to fully charge the battery.  As expected, the battery life on this device is incredible for a touch screen android smartphone. With my regular usage it lasted more than 2 days in single charge. The screen on time I got was around nine hours.

Lenovo Vibe P1m is powered by 64 bit 1GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735P processor with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. It has 16GB of internal storage and supports microSD card upto 32GB. The day to day performance was decent. There was no/minor  lag observed and multi tasking also good. The graphic intensive games also runs in medium graphic settings well. There is no over heating issue noticed.

The Lenovo Vibe P1m measures 141 x 71.8 x 9.3 mm and weighs 148 grams. Though it has huge 3900 mAh battery, it does not feel heavy. The phone also comes with water repellent nano coating which is similar to Moto G first and second gen. This provides protection incase of sudden water splashes. The downside of Vibe p1m is its camera. Interms of specification, it has 8MP primary camera with LED flash and 5MP of front facing camera. But camera quality is just average. It takes decent images not comparable to other budget smartphones in this price segment.
