Upcoming Smartphones in 2015

The Tech community ended another spectacular year, with marvels of technologies jam packed in each of their mobile devices released in 2014. Apple finally stepped into sectors of larger phones; Samsung brought into the market fantastic displays integrated into in S5 and note 4; Motorola and Google upgraded each of their devices to high-end flagship deliminators; HTC and Sony brought in software upgrades and feature enhancements. So what can we expect in 2015? Are there any phones awaiting release? Well, let’s take a look.

Google Project Ara

If you haven’t heard about this new sector of Google’s research, you must read on… Project Ara is an idea for modularizing each Smartphone by classifying each module under – display, camera, processor, and battery. If any of these components seem out-dated, users can easily slide out and replace the specific module of the Smartphone. This not only reduces electronic waste but also provides an opportunity for the customer to personalize the phone according to his/her needs. After numerous demos and models, Google will release the test product in parts of USA before releasing the product worldwide.

Samsung Galaxy S6

Samsung has dominated the phablet market since 2012, releasing some of the most feature-rich smartphones in the entire industry. India’s most affordable 4G LTE smartphone Lenovo A6000 launched in India. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting January 28. The price of Lenvo A6000 is Rs.6999.
Lenovo A6000 features a 5 inch 720P display and powered by 1.2GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 processor with 1GB of RAM.

Lenovo A6000 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out box and supports Dual sim. It has 8GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage through microSD card. This Lenovo 4G Dual sim phone comes with twin Dolby speakers and has 8MP primary camera and 2MP front facing camera.
Connectivity features of the device includes 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS, microUSB, WiFi and Bluetooth. The device houses Li-polymer 2300 mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redme 1s will be back on sale in India on this Monday

As part of Big App Shopping day sale, Flipkart is going to sell Xiaomi Redme 1S in India. One more special about this sale is, no need pre register to buy this device. Normally, Xiaomi has gotten us used to selling only one model at a time. As we all know, earlier this week, Redme Note went on sale in India.

This is not the first time, Xiaomi made such sales. On October 6, Flipkarts big billion day, Xiaomi Mi 3 went on sale like this. So on December 8, we will be able to buy the Redme 1s from Flipkart once again.

Xiaomi adopted a strategy of selling its product in India with flash sales with pre registration. The sale happens on every Tuesday 2PM. It started from Xiaomi Mi 3 followed by Redme 1s and Redme Note 3G. The number units for sale and number people registered for sales also display on the flipkart site.

On December 8th Redme 1S sale, you no need to worry about anything mentioned above. Do remember it is Big App Shopping day sale. So we think that, buying this phone requires Flipkart App on your smartphone. Login and just the Redme 1S before the stocks get over. There is no official communication over the how many units are going to available for purchase.

Microsoft Lumia 535 Launched in India at 9199

Microsoft Mobile launched first Lumia smartphone without Nokia Branding in India. The price of Lumia 535 Dual sim in India is 9,199. The device will be available from November 28, 2014. The available colours of Lumia 535 are Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey, and Black colours.

Lumia 535 Dual sim key highlight is its 5MP front facing camera. According to Microsoft mobile, “The Lumia 535 not only provides you with crystal-clear imagery and the Lumia selfie app, but you’ll also be able to get more in shot during those Skype calls.”. The device also features a 5MP rear primary camera.

The Lumia 535 is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz alongside 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 8GB built in storage and support for microSD card upto 128GB. Microsoft also provides a free 15GB of One Drive cloud storage.

Lumia 535 comes with bundled offers exclusive to Indian customer. These bundled offers include 2 months free subscription to BoxTV worth Rs. 720; ebooks worth Rs. 1,500 via Flipkart eBooks; Rs. 600 worth of ‘extra charge’ on any recharge (Rs. 150 per month), and Rs. 6,000 off (over three months) on purchases via the Windows Phone Jabong app. Vodafone subscribers will get 500MB mobile internet pack for two months provided customer is not using any internet pack.

The Lumia 535 dual sim supports Bluetooth LE and can connect to accessories such as the Portable Wireless Speaker and Coloud Bang among others. The connectivity features of the device includes 2G, 3G, WiFi, DLNA and GPS.

Microsoft is offering two packages for new Lumia consumers (from Lumia 520 to Lumia 1520). The first package is an additional 1TB of OneDrive for Business cloud storage at a price of Rs. 799 per annum. The second one is an Office 365 Business Premium a special price of Rs. 2,499. Using this one licence that can be used on a total of 15 devices, specifically five PCs, five tablets (Windows/ iOS), and five smartphones (Windows/ iOS/ Android).
